Double Chocolate Bundt Cake

Oh chocolate, why do you have to go and be so delicious?

This cake comes from Food and Wine magazine.  It’s dense and rich, but not too dense and rich.  Its decadent, but not too decadent.  It’s a classic recipe without any fancy hard-to-find ingredients.  If you like to bake you probably have all the ingredients for this already.  Did I mention it’s super yummy?  Here is the link to the original recipe.  I made a few changes to suit the ingredients I had on hand.  I used semi sweet chocolate chips instead of bittersweet chocolate and used a kitchen scale to measure them.  I added 1 t. vanilla extract to the batter and I added 1/4 C. powdered sugar to the glaze.  I buttered the bundt pan and dusted it with cocoa powder.  Other than that I followed the directions exactly.  This cake is a hit with kids and grown-ups and it’s great for bringing to a party or pot luck.
