Don Draper’s Canadian Club Manhattan

We are officially counting down to the season opener of Mad Men this Sunday.  Tonight we pay our respects to Don Draper’s whiskey of choice: Canadian Club.  Here is a classic Manhattan recipe to enjoy with your Utz Potato Chips.

  • 3 oz. Canadian Club Whiskey
  • 1 oz. Italian sweet vermouth
  • 2 Angostura Bitters
  • Maraschino cherries with stems

Combine all ingredients in a shaker filled with ice.  Stir to chill, do not shake.  Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with a cherry.
