I bought this wreath at the Milwaukie Farmer’s Market last Sunday. I saw it and immediately knew I had to have it. I usually don’t buy anything other than food at the farmer’s market. I don’t go there to buy kitschy garden art or knitted hats. I go there to buy locally raised meat and produce. But this time was different. What a great idea! You just mist it and keep picking herbs all summer. The woman that makes them has a stall with her husband selling plants and planters. Look for her at the market in Milwaukie tomorrow! I have already enjoyed picking and using the herbs from this wreath. Considering a few ounces of fresh herbs will cost you 3 dollars at the grocery store, the price for a wreath that will continue to provide herbs through the summer was very reasonable at $35. Treat yourself!

It’s very beautiful. We had some chives from it the other night sprinkled over a dab of sour cream on top of the corn chowder.
Seconds, please!
