I know this post is a bit thin, but it’s Friday, it’s been a long week, I wanted to post something quick! Besides, it really is a great way to prepare sprouts, and my family eats them right up.
- 1 lb. brussel sprouts, outer leaves removed, cut in half
- 2 t. olive oil
- 1/2 t. coarse salt
- 1/2 t. pepper
Heat the oven to 400 degrees. Toss the sprouts with the oil, salt and pepper.
Spread them on a baking sheet and roast for about 20 minutes, tossing halfway through. The sprouts will have brown caramelized spots, they will be tender, but not mushy, and a few of the leaves that fall off will be crisp and tasty.
